How My Invoice Generator handles the information needed to run your account, create documents, process credits, and support the service.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language so you can understand how My Invoice Generator works.

Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information needed to operate the service. This may include:

  • Account details such as name, email address, sign-in provider, and profile image when available.
  • Document details you enter, such as business names, customer names, invoice numbers, dates, line items, taxes, notes, payment details, and similar billing information.
  • Files you upload, such as logos or other images used in a document.
  • Payment and credit records, such as selected credit pack, amount, currency, payment status, provider reference, and checkout metadata. We do not store full card, bank, or wallet credentials.
  • Support messages, attachments, and contact details when you ask for help.
  • Technical and usage information, such as device/browser data, page events, basic performance metrics, session identifiers, IP-derived security signals, and error logs.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Show document previews and generate PDFs.
  • Save drafts, templates, uploaded assets, and document history.
  • Process credits, payment status, receipts, and failed payments.
  • Send sign-in links, generated documents, receipts, and important account messages.
  • Answer support requests and resolve account or payment issues.
  • Protect the service from fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents.
  • Understand product usage and improve reliability, speed, and design.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, selected locale, market/currency preferences, draft recovery, analytics session identifiers, and similar service functions. Some features may not work correctly if these are disabled.

Analytics

We use product analytics and web performance events to understand how the service is used and where it can be improved. These events help us measure page performance, generator usage, checkout attempts, and errors. If Google Tag Manager or similar tools are enabled, those tools may also receive browser and usage data according to their own policies.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to run the service, comply with law, or protect users and the platform. This may include:

  • Payment providers, such as Dodo Payments, for checkout and payment status.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and improve product reliability. Some temporary files or technical events may be deleted sooner. Account, payment, and support records may be kept longer where needed for legitimate business or legal reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including access controls, secure transport, provider-level security features, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee complete security, so please avoid entering information you do not need in a generated document.

Your choices

You can choose what document details you enter, whether to upload a logo, and whether to buy credits. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information associated with your account. Some requests may be limited where we need to keep records for legal, payment, security, or dispute reasons.

Children

My Invoice Generator is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

International users

We may process and store information in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. When we update it, we will change the date on this page.
